Projects to do

A club relies on fans buying tickets match by match, which makes income unpredictable, but fans will only commit to a season pass if the bundle fits how they actually attend.

A small boat builder buys material up front but is paid in stages, so a busy order book can still leave them short of cash to pay workers.

Exporting looks simple until you see the steps of packing, paperwork, port handling and shipping that sit between factory and customer.

Mid-size pharma plants in Goa industrial estates make medicines for brand owners, but their sales material is often a dense list of machines rather than an answer to what a buyer needs.

Lab reports arrive as dense tables that patients cannot navigate, so they phone the lab or search online in a panic.

Coconut-shell bowls, cups and lamps attract interest from boutique stores and exporters, but artisans lack a sample pack with specifications, care, packing and terms that a buyer needs.

Small units that clean, pack or dry fish must follow food safety rules, but many lack a simple written procedure their workers can follow every day.

Bus stop boards are crowded and confusing, so travellers ask strangers or give up and take an auto.

Trucks queue on town roads before entering a port, and the delays come from many small steps: paperwork, scheduling, checks and space inside the gate.

After a deal closes, money is lost when systems, staff and customers are joined badly, even if the price paid was right.

Choosing office days without thinking through the trade-offs can leave teams tired, divided or never together.

Small ancillary units near Goa's pharma plants make cartons, labels or machine parts, but their pitch to a plant's purchase team is often a visiting card and a price list.

Families compare coaching fees without counting travel, books, lost time and how much actual teaching they receive.

A neighbourhood pharmacy owner wants advice but will not read a long report, so a consultant must pick one change and make it easy to say yes.

A small ship-repair yard wants more work from barge and boat owners, but its pitch talks about the yard instead of the owner's downtime and costs.

The founder of a family restaurant is getting older, the children disagree about taking over and nobody has discussed what happens next.

Goa's hinterland of waterfalls, spice farms and green paddy fields is at its best in the rains, yet most tourism ventures close for the monsoon instead of testing what visitors would book.

Teachers get exam duties by habit, so some end up with long gaps between slots or clashes with their own classes while others rarely serve.

Operators lose customers every month, and the real reasons are often different from what a survey form shows.

Online used-car listings look similar, and buyers waste weekends visiting cars that a closer read of the listing would have ruled out.

Slides crowded with small text, low-contrast colours and unlabelled images can exclude students with low vision, dyslexia or hearing difficulties.

A Goa manufacturer wants to know whether coastal shipping could ever beat trucks for one regular route, but has never laid the two journeys side by side.

Small pottery units take orders by phone and chat with no catalogue, so customers ask the same questions, orders get mixed up and payments are chased by memory.

Crab fattening in ponds or pens along brackish waters is promoted as a livelihood, but a family needs to know what it involves and whether it could pay before investing.
